Chanel just released the Les Symboles De Chanel Oversized Illuminating Powder Highlighters. There are three shades to choose from in Pearly White, Precious Coral, and Warm Gold. You also can choose from five embossed designs in any of the shades in Camelia Fower, The Pearl Double C logo, Chains, the Lion, and the Comet and Stars
I purchased the White and Coral highlighters with Camelia and The Logo designs.
Le Camelia in Pearly White
The Camelia design Highlighter in Pearly White is my favorite of the two because I always love a white highlighter.
The shade is a luminous white pearl shade with little sparkles.
These highlighters do not have any fragrance that I can detect, which I actually am happy about since I prefer fragrance free products in my face.
The quality is great in these highlighters and the oversized compact will last a very long time. They wear well on my skin, lasting all day, without fading or emphasizing any skin texture.
Les Perles in Precious Coral
The Pearl Double C Logo in Precious Coral is a pretty peachy sheen on my skin tone. It doesn’t have the tiny sparkles that the white shade has. It is more of a smooth sheen.
Swatches
Both shades are very flattering in my skin tone when applied to the cheekbones. I was worried the coral might be too dark for me, but it isn’t once you apply it sheered out on the sheen ones.
Final Thoughts
I really love these two highlighters I purchased and love the concept of getting to choose your shade and embossed design. I think it is a fun thing to offer. I also really love both of these shades. I skipped the Warm Gold shade because I know that shade will be to deep and yellow on my skin tone.
