Tom Ford just released the Holiday 2023 Soleil Neige Makeup Collection and I picked up the eyeshadow quad and one of the two highlighters.
Lumiere D’Hiver Quad Eyeshadow Palette
The Tom Ford Soleil Neige Eyeshadow Quad in Lumiere D’Hiver is a pressed powder eyeshadow formula this year with shades of beige, taupe silver shimmer, light silver shimmer, and deep brown.
The eyeshadows go on smoothly and blend beautifully without fallout. They last all day without creasing or fading on me. I love the neutral shades and the shimmers are so pretty. They are not just shimmer toppers but pretty eyeshadows that look stunning on the eyes.
The shimmer in the two middle shades look so much prettier in person. It was impossible to capture the subtle nuances and the multiple colors of the shimmers in the photos.
Rose Irise Glow Highlighter Powder
The Tom Ford Glow Highlighter in Rose Irise is a gorgeous pink toned highlighter that is mostly pink sheen with a sheer base. It looks more transparent on the skin than it looks in the pan, leaving a beautiful wet sheen that isn’t too strong of a highlight. It still manages to come off looking natural on the skin and I love this shade.
It feels like a baked gelee formula in the pan and applies like one too, in my opinion.
The pink color shows up more in person than it does in the photo. It also had some pretty shift to it with little nuances that can’t be captured in a photo.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I am loving these products. I really like how the highlighter looks on the skin I am tempted to get the champagne shade as well. I also really like the shades in the eyeshadow quad this year and the quality is great. I highly recommend both of these.
