I can’t believe how fast this month has seemed to fly by. It feels like I just wrote a favorites post so recently. This has been another simple month where I have mostly stayed at home, except to go to physical therapy and the occasional grocery trip, so on the few days I wear make up it has been minimal. I’ve had the most fun focusing on skin care this month, especially making cream masks a more consistent part of my routine.
Skincare:
This month I have really been enjoying my skincare so much. I’ve had such good skin lately and I attribute that to being very consistent. I’ve really been focusing on taking my normal skin care routine to the next level by adding in cream masks twice a week. Since I have been focusing on being consistent with my routine and adding in some new cleansers I have really seen even more improvement in my skin this month.
La Mer Cleansing Foam– I use this about half the days of the week lately during my morning routine and my DHC Pure Soap the other days and in evenings. This little one ounce tube is lasting a very long time. A pea size amount is all you need for your whole face and neck.
La Mer Cleansing Oil- I recently finished another cleansing oil (which will be in an upcoming empties post) and added this to my routine for removing my makeup and sunscreen at night. A tiny amount goes a long way and I love how light weight it is on the skin. It’s the perfect cleansing oil for summer.
La Mer Cleansing Micellar Water- I have really been enjoying using this to cleanse my skin on mornings that I do my cream mask. I will cleanse my skin with the micellar water, then tone with the tonic, and then apply my mask before my morning shower. This has been a great routine for me and I’ve been doing this twice a week for about six weeks now.
La Mer Intensive Revitalizing Mask– I have completely fallen in love with this mask. When I had first tried it last Fall it seemed almost too strong for my skin, but now that my skin is healthy and balanced it is really helping make improvements even more. I notice after I use this mask my skin is even more bright and clear and my pores are staying very clean.
La Mer Lifting and Firming Mask– I have really been enjoying this mask as an alternative to the revitalizing mask. Sometimes I just like to switch it up and this one just really makes my skin look healthy and firm.
La Mer Eye Concentrate– I received this large deluxe travel size eye cream as a gift with purchase and I have been using it most evenings. It really helps brighten my eyes and makes me look more awake and refreshed in the mornings. I definitely prefer this new version over the previous version of the Eye concentrate and it doesn’t irritate my eyes at all.
Makeup:
This month I have been focusing on quick, minimal makeup looks with bronzey skin and perfected skin.
Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer In Medium– I have been enjoying this btonzer a lot. It is so effortless and a joy to use.
Chanel Les Beiges Bronzing Cream– such a beautiful bronzer. This product makes me more interested in trying other cream products.
La Mer Soft Fluid Foundation– a lightweight beautiful formula that is great in the summer heat.
La Mer Pressed Powder In Translucent 02– a light dusting over the foundation is all I need for a glowy look.
MAC Lipstick in A La Plage– a gorgeous pinky nude with pearl. It goes with the bronzers so well.
Chanel Le Volume Mascara– I haven’t felt like doing in depth eye looks so some days it’s just this mascara.
Tom Ford Nude Dip Eye Quad– a favorite quad to wear with anything.
Fragrance:
Chanel Les Exclusifs Beige Parfum– this was an Anniversary Gift and I’ve been enjoying wearing it this month.
Chanel Les Exclusifs Beige EDP– I love wearing all forms of Beige in June.
Chanel Les Exclusifs No 22 Parfum– this is still one of my top perfumes to use. It just always uplifts me.
