Chanel just released their newest Les Beiges Collection for Summer 2020. This collection is all about an an effortless sun kissed glow.
I always look forward to Chanel’s Summer Collection every year.
I picked up the two powders, a highlighting fluid, and one of the nail polishes. I will purchase the Bronzing cream when it comes back in stock and will review it in a separate post.
The collection contains:
Les Beiges Healthy Glow Illuminating Powder in two shades: Sand and Sunset.
Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream. (Currently in stock on Chanel.com).
Les Beiges Sheer Healthy Glow Highlighting Fluid in two shades: Pearly Glow and Sunkissed.
Les Beiges Healthy Glow Natural Eyeshadow Palette in Warm. (I skipped this because it looked to warm for my skin tone).
Les Beiges Healthy Glow Lip Balm In Warm. ( I skipped this because I got new Rouge Coco Flash shades instead)
Les Vernis Longwear Nail Color In two shades: 745 Cruise and 749 Sailor.
I picked up both shades of the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Illuminating Powder. Sand is on the left and Sunset on the right.
These powders are silky smooth and have a light shimmer to them. They also have the usual Les Beiges fragrance which smells fresh and summery, to me.
The Sand color works as a highlight for me and gives a golden sheen to my cheek bones. It is a natural tone of golden beige so I think it looks really pretty on me without being too yellow or warm. Since this is almost my skin color, it lends a more natural highlight, which I really like for carefree summer days.
I use the Sunset shade as a bronzer. I actually really like this as a bronzer on my skin, even though I was not sure this shade would work for me. It blends out effortlessly and seems to have a more neutral tone once applied to my cheeks. I love the shade applied lightly as a bronzer and feel like the shimmer is not as noticeable once I’ve applied it on the face. It gives a healthy natural skin glow.
I am really glad I got both shades of the powder because they will make it easy to warm up my complexion for summer.
Les Beiges Sheer Healthy Glow Highlighting Fluid in Pearly Glow is a gorgeous highlighting fluid that imparts a natural highlight to the skin. The color is a pearly beige with a nice balance of peach and pink undertones. It can be applied directly to the face on areas you wish to highlight or mixed in with your favorite foundation or moisturizer. I love wearing this on bare skin applied to my cheek bones. It gives such a pretty sheen that looks so ethereal when the light catches it. This highlighting fluid also has the Les Beiges fragrance but is soft and tends to subside a lot after it dries down.
It also wears beautifully on top of foundation as a cheek highlight and lasts all day.
The Les Vernis Longwear Nail Color I picked up is 749 Sailor. This is a bright red cream shade that I will wear a ton over the summer.
Overall I am in love with everything I purchased from this collection. These are the kind of products that integrate easily into your current makeup routine and become staple products to use all the time. I love products like this that I can really use every day for a healthy summer glow.
The Chanel Les Beiges Summer of Glow Collection is available now on Chanel.com and will be rolling out to other retailers in May. The Bronzing cream is available again on Chanel.com. None of these items say limited edition on the website, so I think these are all permanent products.
