February 2020 Beauty Favorites

This month I have been focusing on keeping my skincare routine consistent and simple. I have been using only my regular La Mer Skincare routine and have seen great improvements in my skin. While my entire skincare routine has been my most favorite, I’ve shared a few skincare items below that stood out for me this month.

My makeup has been pretty minimal and simple this month and I’ve used makeup I already have and love. With the exception of a few things from the new Chanel collection that I reviewed and the new Mac highlighters, I actually haven’t purchased any other new make up lately. I’ve been going makeup free a lot this month and just enjoying what I already have. New makeup just isn’t catching my eye right now. I no longer buy makeup colors that don’t flatter my skin tone the best, and I don’t buy colors that I have to struggle to make them work, so this cuts out my interest for most of the new stuff being released this month.

Skincare:

La Mer Renewal Oil- I have been using this 2 to 3 nights per week with one drop mixed into my nightly moisturizer. I found that it has slight exfoliating properties for me so I do not need to use it every day. I wake up with my skin glowing since I’ve been using this consistently.

La Mer Concentrate– I have been routinely using this every morning consistently for the entire month. It has faded a lot of my hyper pigmentation and has really evened out my skin tone. It also makes any breakouts go away much faster.

La Mer Skintint– this is a tinted sunscreen moisturizer. I have been incorporating this into my skin care routine to help protect against aging rays that can still come through the many windows in my house. I have been wearing this as my foundation with a little bit of concealer, on those days that I don’t want to wear make up.

Makeup:

Tom Ford Lipsticks in Bad Leitenant and Abigail– I have been loving these two lipsticks lately for an effortless look and have been reaching for them the most this month. They are easy to wear and go with everything.

Chanel Blush in Jersey– this is one of the best Nude Blush shades. It goes with every makeup look and looks effortless and polished.

Chanel Single Eyeshadows in Talpa and Sable– these shades make a quick and easy eye look when used together and are so fast to just put it on and go about my day.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade– this is a long time favorite highlighter that I’ve been reaching for a lot lately. It just always works with my skin tone and I love it paired with Jersey Blush.

Tom Ford Nude Dip Eye Quad- still my most favorite eye quad and I use it all the time.

Chanel Nail Polish in shades Daydream, Petale and Fleur de Pecher– these are new shades from the most recent Chanel collections and I have been wearing them nonstop this month. I love how elegant and sophisticated these shades are.

Fragrance:

Tom Ford White Suede– this has been my most worn fragrance this month. I just absolutely love everything about it.

Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge– this was my Valentine’s Day gift this year and I love it so much. Such a romantic Jasmine scent on me.

Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede– I’ve been reaching for this one a lot lately and have enjoyed layering it with other Jo Malone scents.

Chanel Les Exclusifs Jersey– I have been inspired to wear more lavender with the release of the Jo Malone Lavenderland Collection so I’ve been reaching for this a lot lately, as well. It is still my most favorite take on lavender I’ve found.

This wraps up my favorite beauty things for the month. What are some of your favorites?
