The new Loud and Clear Collection from MAC Cosmetics consists of new Extra Dimension Skinfinish Highlighters, single Eye Shadows, Lipsticks, and Lip Glosses in special edition clear packaging.
I picked up both shades of the Highlighters.
PostModernist Peach– This is a light peachy champagne gold color that looked more like icy gold on my skin tone. The peach doesn’t show on me on my cheek as much as in the swatch or in the pan. This one is really pretty on the cheekbones, though and gives a pretty buildable highlight.
Hot Damnoiselle D’Avignon– This is a medium rosy gold with a pink undertone and stronger golden flash. On my cheeks it looks mostly golden with hints of pink and copper. Swatched heavily on my hand it shows more true to the color in the pan. I was worried this would look too orange or too dark on me once applied, but it doesn’t. It works nicely applied with a light hand.

I thought I would compare these with some other MAC highlighters I have below.
Here I compared PostModernist Peach with (clockwise) Whisper of Guilt, Superb, By Candlelight, and Beaming Blush.

Here I compared Hot Damnoiselle D’Avignon with (clockwise) Show Gold, Fairly Precious, and Superb.

Here I’ve compared PostModernist Peach to Chanel Poudre Signee De Chanel and Eclat Magnetique De Chanel.

Here I’ve compared Hot Damnoiselle D’Avignon with the rose gold side of the La Mer Glow Highlighter Duo.
Swatches with the La Mer Glow rose gold side on the right. I actually think this one came closest in color to the Hot Damnoiselle D’Avignon.
I’m really happy I picked these up as I love collecting MAC Skinfinish Highlighters and these are very wearable.
I think these two new highlighters are different than anything I have from MAC or other brands upon glancing at my collection. I can compare more if you all think of anything you want to see swatched for comparison. Just let me know in the comments and I’ll see if I have what you are interested in seeing.
The MAC Loud and Clear Collection is available now at most MAC retail locations and department stores online and in store. They are currently sold out in MAC’s website but they could be restocked. They retail for $37 and are limited edition.
