New Tom Ford Eye Shadow Quads: Mink Mirage and Noir Fume Review and Swatches

There are five new eye shadow quads that were just released by Tom Ford. As soon as I saw previews of these I knew I would love Mink Mirage* and Noir Fume*. While some people get excited over bright eye shadow colors, I get excited over neutral colors, especially darker smokey shades. These are simply my kind of colors and I had to grab these two first.

I will be swatching the other three in person before I decide to buy them. I’m really eyeing Sous Le Sable, but am not sure if De La Creme might be too warm for me. I know I won’t wear the Arabesque quad much, because of the glitter, so am skipping it.

Noir Fume:

This quad has a matte cream, satin taupe with olive undertones, a deeper satin bronze and a matte deep charcoal brown.

Swatches of Noir Fume:

Mink Mirage:

This quad has a bone shade, neutral tan, Warner brown, and a black. All of these shades are matte.

This quad is very close to the previous Cocoa Mirage quad with the reddish shade switched to the black.

Swatches of Mink Mirage:

I’ve already been wearing these quads a lot and am very happy with the color pay off and how easily these shadows blend. A little goes a long way when applying these shadows. They also last all day on me. When I take my makeup off at the end of the day, my eye makeup looks like I just put it on. I’m really impressed with the quality of Tom Ford eye shadows in general.

I really enjoy the neutral colors and look forward to checking the other three quads out when they arrive at my local counter.

The new Tom Ford Eye Shadow Quads are $88 and are currently available at most department stores online and are starting to appear at store counters as well.
