The new Mini Love Story Makeup Collection by Natasha Denona is just in time for Valentine’s Day and includes a mini five pan eyeshadow palette, a cream blush and powder highlighter cheek duo palette, and an I Need a Nude lipstick in a new shade.

The packaging is a gorgeous pinky red metallic packaging and the cheek duo palette has a beautiful glittery snow globe top on the lid. The little glitters and hearts float around in there as you move it around. I just love packaging like this. The packaging is just gorgeous and perfect for Valentine’s Day.

The eyeshadow palette shadow names also spells out the sentence You Are My True Love. I think it’s just such a cute little touch to the collection.
Mini Love Blush Palette

The Love Cheek Duo palette has a coral cream blush on the left side and a baked gelee type powder blush on the right side.
The cream blush is a pinky coral color with an amazing cream to powder formula that applies beautifully under setting powder, but even applies just as great on top of powdered foundation. I never remember to apply cream blush before I put on powder so I love this formula because I can apply it just like I would any other powder blush. It sets down to a powder finish and doesn’t move around or stay feeling creamy.

The highlighter has a beautiful golden sheen with a little peach shift to it. The base is a rose gold/ pink. On my cheeks, I mostly see the golden sheen because the pink blends in with my skin tone some. I love how the sheen changes with how the light hits it. This highlighter also pairs beautifully with other blushes that I already have in my collection.

Both the blush and highlighter last all day on me without fading. The formulas blend beautifully into the skin without being patchy or emphasizing any texture or pores on my cheeks. I used a sponge to apply the cream blush and a regular cheek brush and both applied it beautifully.
Mini Love Eyeshadow Palette

The Mini Love eye shadow palette has a gorgeous pink and purple color story with shades of a rose gold duo chrome with pink shift, a matte lilac, a deep purple, a shimmery pale pink, and a brighter warm pink shimmer. I was really excited to get this palette because I love purple eye shadows and loved the looks that Natasha Denona created in her Instagram page.
I normally don’t feel like I can wear pink shades on my eyes but these are definitely the exception. These are the first pinks I feel like I can wear.

The shades in here are stunning on the eyes. The mattes are very pigmented and blend and build like a dream. The shimmers are also very pigmented and apply beautifully with my usual eyeshadow brushes. You don’t need much of any of the shades to achieve a rich and seamlessly blended eye look. The dark purple shade is the best dark purple I have ever used. Dark purples tend to be quite patchy and sheer where you really have to build them up, but not this one. This formula is superb.
I actually did not experience hardly any fall out when using these shades on my eyes. I do only pick up a small amount on my brush and I do tap the glitters off just a little bit before applying. The Rose gold shade farthest to the left is the the only one that had a little bit of fall out but it easily brushed away with my powder brush.

The shades blend out and into each other so well, they almost blend themselves. The colors stayed true and rich all day without any creasing or fading on my hooded eyelids. I was actually sad to remove my make up at night because it still looked so beautiful every time I’ve worn this palette.
I Need a Nude Amarosa Lipstick

The new Amarosa lipstick, in the collection, is in the I Need a Nude lipstick formula and is a medium nude with a pink undertone. It has the same gorgeous creamy formula as the rest of her nude lipstick range. The formula wears for a long while on me for it being a cream and it stays feeling comfortable and moisturizing on my lips.

I paired this lipstick with Natasha‘s lip liners in Julia and Iiona (reviewed here) and both went beautifully with this lipstick.

I really am loving her nude lipstick colors more and more as I continue to wear them, because the tones look beautiful on me and I normally have trouble finding nudes that do not turn very orange or too warm.
Final Thoughts
I love the entire collection. If you’ve been following my blog, It is no secret by now that I have completely fallen in love with Natasha Denona’s brand. Her eyeshadow formula is some of the best I’ve ever used and I look forward to putting it on in the mornings and get a lot of joy from playing with different looks from her palettes. I also feel like these products are exceptional quality for the price points. I have used some very expensive make up and honestly these out perform a lot of the luxury products that I have and have used. I feel like her lipsticks are a little better than my Tom Ford creamy Lipsticks at half the price.
This collection has a beautiful wearable color story that is both very good quality, highly pigmented, and yet still very easy to use. I just love it and highly recommend everyone check out this collection, if you are drawn to this color story, while it is still available.
