Charlotte Tilbury just released three new Limited edition lipsticks for the Lunar New Year in stunning red packaging with studded jewels on the case. I think these are so stunning.
These gorgeous lipstick cases are refillable like her Hot Lips 2 Collection, so when you finish the lipstick that comes inside you can replace it with another refill shade from the permanent range and continue to use the pretty tube.
The new lipsticks are:
Sweet Blossom: a rusty rose shade in the moisturizing Kissing formula.
Lucky Cherry: a bright cherry red in the Matte Revolution formula.
Rose Wish: a brick red in the Matte Revolution formula.
These shades are on the warm side and unique to my lipstick collection. I have always enjoyed wearing a brick red lipstick and Rose Wish is a Beautiful shade. Lucky Cherry is very bright red on me but very flattering to my skin tone. Sweet Blossom surprised me the most with how wearable this shade is on my complexion. It isn’t too warm for me at all and goes beautifully with the Pillow Talk eyeshadow palettes.
Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are some of my favorite formulas I own. Her Matte Revolution formula is my favorite matte formula of all my lipsticks and is not drying at all. The Kissing formula is a beautiful moisturizing formula that has a pretty shine to it. They both always look flattering on the lips.
These shades appear a little warmer swatched on my hand than they do when I apply them on my lips. My lips are naturally pretty pigmented so it tones down the warmth a little bit on me.
Final Thoughts
I am very glad that I picked up all three of these shades. I really love them all. I have been trying to branch out of my comfort zone and find some warmer toned shades that I can wear, and these are perfect. I also do not already own any lipstick shades even close to these, so they are great additions to my collection. I also I am in love with the beautiful packaging and will enjoy using them even after I finish the lipsticks inside.
