Charlotte Tilbury just released three new eyeshadow palettes in the Hollywood Flawless Filter Collection. These are limited edition and in a beautiful new formula.
This new formula reminds me of the Tom Ford wet dry formula, like in Nude Dip, which is my favorite eye shadow formula to date. These new Charlotte Tilbury Eye Quads are just as beautiful as the Tom Ford ones and have smaller shimmer particles than a lot of the Tom Ford palettes. They look beautiful on the eyes and do not emphasize texture like a lot of shimmer shades can. They really do seem to give a lovely blurring filter effect to the finished eye look.
These eye shadows wear all day on me and actually seem to meld together more after a few hours and look even better.
The Flawless Eye Filter Palettes all apply like buttery silk on the eyes and are effortless to blend together. I really enjoy using the darker shades from Diva Lights and Eyes of a Star together with Star Aura for more depth and dimension. The shades from all three palettes go so well together.
Star Aura Eye Shadow Palette
Star Aura contains shades in a soft ivory champagne, soft pink, a soft taupe brown, and a soft sand shade.
This is my favorite of the three palettes because it has such gorgeous, soft, every day shades that are not too warm or too cool in tone. They go with everything and really compliment my hazel eyes.
Diva Lights Eye Shadow Palette
Diva Lights contains shades of white golden champagne, peachy copper, deep bluish black, and a bronze brown.
I love how this palette can give an easy evening look and work well to deepen looks with the Star Aura quad.
Eyes of a Star Eye Shadow Palette
Eyes of a Star contains a warm gold, deeper orange copper, dark brown, and reddish bronze.
This palette is definitely the warmest of the three and would be so gorgeous on deeper skin tones. On me it gives a lovely bronzey smokey eye. I also love pairing the deepest shade with the Star Aura quad. This one is a little warmer than I usually prefer on its own, but paired with Star Aura, I’m able to use all of the shades in lovely looks. I’m looking forward to wearing this quad in the summer.
Final Thoughts
I absolutely love these eyeshadow palettes. I love this new formula and the shades are very versatile and sophisticated. They are beautiful every day shades that can also be worn for evening and events as well. I have loved all of the looks I’ve tried from them so far and appreciate that they all work so well together. I really hope these become permanent and that we see more eye shadows in this formula from Charlotte Tilbury in the future. I’m so glad I picked up all three of these eye palettes.
