I missed out on the new Tom Ford Meteoric Eye Color Quad when it first released in the fall, because it seemed to pop up on retailer websites randomly and was hard to locate for a while.
I’m so glad I was finally able to purchase it at Nordstrom. This eye color quad is different than any other color story I have from Tom Ford.
Meteoric Shades: The top two shades are topper shades in a Light gold champagne and a lilac with hints of mauve. Then there is a matte mauve and a satin warm rosey brown. The Brown shade has a rosey sheen to it that doesn’t show up in the pictures very much.
The shadows in this quad are great quality as I always expect from Tom Ford. They do not irritate my eyes at all and the matte and satin shades are very pigmented and blend beautifully on the eyes with no fall out. The sparkle shades are more sheer by design and work lovely over any eyeshadow to give a glistening effect to the finished look.
I always get all day wear from all of my Tom Ford Eye Color Quads, and this one is no exception. They stay looking great until I take them off at the end of the day. I also don’t experience much glitter fall during the day from the topper shades.
The glittery shades on the center of the lid really liven up my eyes and make them sparkle. I like that the glitter isn’t over the top so this palette is appropriate to wear any time. I love the lilac sparkle shade the most song reach for it most often.
Final Thoughts
Even though I really only make a couple of different looks from this palette on it’s own, I do love the looks I do get from it and it is great to use with other quads. It’s great quality, a very wearable color story for most people, and the sparkle adds a little something to make it more than the average neutrals and fun to wear.
I’m so happy I bought this palette and will enjoy wearing it with some of my other Tom Ford Eye Color Quads.
