Charlotte Tilbury just released a new collection of three limited edition lipsticks in the Matte Revolution formula. These are described as “pout perfecting rose petal colors that light up your skin tone with glow from dawn to dusk” on Charlotte Tilbury’s Official Instagram.
The lipsticks come in the regular lipstick tubes with imprint of lips in the lipstick.
I feel like these shades are very wedding appropriate and are nice rosy romantic colors that are also great for every day.
The formula is the Matte Revolution formula which is described as a hydrating matte with glow pigments for a fuller effect on the lips. This formula is a more hydrating Matte compared to most matte lipsticks I have tried. It is comfortable to wear and is pretty long wearing on me. While I don’t prefer matte lipsticks in general, this is one of my favorite matte lipstick formulas, because it doesn’t make my lips feel dry and cracked. It also doesn’t sink into my lip lines as much as others.
Wedding Bells, Mrs. Kisses, and First Dance
The new colors are:
Wedding Bells– a nude pink
This is the color I was the most drawn to and was hoping this would be a pinker version of Pillow Talk. This shade is a Rosy brownish shade on my pigmented lips.
Mrs. Kisses– warm peachy pink
This one is more of an orange brown color on me.
First Dance– a berry rose
I’m most surprised by this shade as it pulled less berry and more medium pink on my lips.

All of these shades seem to be darker on me than they are on other people, but are still pretty true to color on my lips. I sometimes have a problem with Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks turning orange on me. If I see the color is a beautiful pinky nude on someone else it usually never looks that way on me, for some reason. I do have quite naturally pigmented lips, so I think this plays a part in the shades looking different. I can adjust the shades by wearing different lip liners.
Comparisons to other Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks I have:
Wedding Bells compared to Pillow Talk, English Beauty, and Confession

Most of Charlotte Tilbury’s lipsticks end up looking warmer in my lips than on my hand.

I think the new shades are a little similar, but not exact dupes of any of the other Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks I have. I don’t have any shades even close to First Dance.
I hope these comparisons have been helpful. If you would like to see me compare these to any other lipsticks just let me know in the comments.
The new Love Filter Lipsticks are currently available on CharlotteTilbury.com and Nordstrom and retail for $34.
