I didn’t leave the house very much in May due to everything going on and so I didn’t wear make as often. I’ve been sticking to my same skin care routine and while I tend to stick to the same make up looks most of the time I have been playing with different lip combo’s and different blushes to switch things up. below I will share the things that I’ve been using most often and that stood out to me as a go to this month.
Makeup:
Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Bronzer- I love how versatile this is and how I can customize my shade. It reminds me of my old Guerlain four seasons bronzer that I loved for years.
MAC Custom Eye Shadow Palette– I have been reaching for this palette a lot because it has so many of my staple colors and I don’t have to think about what I’m going to wear. I’ve been playing around with different blushes and lips and pretty much doing the same eye looks.
La Mer Soft Fluid Foundation– I have been pulling this foundation out more since I have been wanting a lighter layer. I am currently in the shade 02 Ivory.
MAC Creme Cup Lipstick- I have enjoyed wearing this lipstick with a bunch of different lip liners to change the overall look. It really can be a Chamaeleon depending on what lip liner you put with it.
NARS Orgasm Blush- this was my favorite blush color for years and I recently opened this new one that I bought and had in my back up drawer. This color just looks so good in the spring and summer.
Chanel Les Beiges Highlighting Fluid In Pearly Glow- this liquid highlight goes great with the Nars blush and also looks good with any bronzer I put with it. It’s just easy to use and goes with everything.
MAC 24 Hour Concealer– This concealer is somewhat new to me and I have been using it for my under eye concealer and really love it. The formula stays put all day and stays looking flawless. I went a little darker in my shade to NW24 and it seems to match the rest of my skin perfectly. I don’t usually use really light concealer under my eyes; I like the color to blend in with the rest of my face. This concealer does tend to run really light compared to your normal Mac shade.
Skincare:
La Mer Moisturizing Matte Lotion- I switched out the La Mer Soft Cream for this matte lotion in my morning skin care routine and have been loving it. It works great under make up and does seem to keep my skin more matte through out the day in the humidity.
Chanel Sublimage Grains De Vanille– I have really been loving this facial scrub. I use it once a week and use the La Mer Exfoliator The other two times per week. This routine has been working wonders for keeping my skin clear.
Chanel L’HUILE Rose Body Oil– I use this oil when I soak in the bathtub. You only need a few drops for a large bath and the scent is so beautiful. It smells just like real roses.
Chanel Paris Venise Shower Gel– I have been loving this shower gel as a bubble bath for soaking in the tub and I combine it with the rose oil and the two scents together are wonderful. If you have both of these I highly recommend trying them together in your bath.
Fragrance:
Tom Ford Eau de Soleil Blanc– this is my go to summer fragrance when I know I’m going to be outside enjoying the sunny weather. It just gets me in the mood for being outside and makes me feel uplifted, happy and like I’m on vacation. It has really helped me bring the vacation feeling home since we haven’t been able to go anywhere this month.
Chanel Les Exclusifs No. 22 Parfum– I love this pure perfume version of No 22. This has been my most worn fragrance this month. It’s uplifting, makes me feel happy, and I feel like I get an energy boost when I wear this.
Chanel No. 5 Parfum– I’ve been wearing this a lot during the month, too. It’s soft and calming and just makes me feel pretty and feminine.
Chanel Les Exclusifs Beige– this is also one of my top favorites since it always makes me feel extra happy when I smell it. It’s just so elegant and sophisticated and just one of my go to’s for the spring. If I’m not sure what I want to wear for the day I will pick Beige or No 22.
Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Skinscent– this is a newer fragrance to me but is already becoming a favorite. It feels perfect for summer and is just beautiful. This is definitely my favorite version of the Bronze Goddess fragrances.
