January 2020 Beauty Favorites

This month I’ve had a lot of fun trying some new fragrances and using some old and new makeup favorites. I’ve kept my makeup pretty simple this month and have went makeup free a lot when I know I’m not going anywhere. I’ve really enjoyed using all of these products that I’ve shared below.

Makeup Favorites:

Tom Ford Eye Quads- Double Indemnity, Body Heat, and Noir Fume– I’ve really been enjoying these palettes. I love the deeper shades in each of these palettes and like combining shades from all of them to create different looks with a similar vibe.

KKW Beauty Mrs. West Eye Shadow Palette– I love how classic and pretty these shadows make my eyes look. These are great neutral tones that I use in a lot of looks. I’ve been using the pink shade in almost every eye look as a blending shade and it blends so well with my skin tone and softens edges of my smokey eyes. On me it doesn’t look pink, but blends with my skin tone. I really enjoy KKW Beauty eye shadows in general and have several of her palettes that I really enjoy. I always love how my makeup looks when I wear them and they have one of my favorite matte eye shadow formulas.

KKW Beauty Concealer– I’ve been using this concealer for my under eyes for a while. I mix two shades together in the winter to get the perfect shade. I love how well this covers without adding a lot of product and it’s a formula that I can use all over my face without adding texture. It’s a thin formula but really covers all my dark circles and stays in place all day. This works well when I want to do a full face of make up, but also works just as well under my eyes when I don’t want to wear foundation at all. I can just put this on with a little bit of powder and it blends in with my skin flawlessly. I really think it’s a fantastic quality product that I don’t hear that many people talking about. I like to order these when they have sales on the website.

Tom Ford Indian Rose and Pink Dusk Lipstick– these are two of my most used lipsticks for the month. I like to wear them alone or mixed together.

Tom Ford Lip Gloss Impulse– this is a newer favorite as I just discovered when I was in Dillard’s recently. It’s a wonderful hydrating formula that feels so nice and comfortable on the lips. I’ll definitely get more shades in this gloss in the future.

Chanel Lip Liners in Rose Natural and Pivoine– these are two of the new colors recently released by Chanel and they have been my go to’s ever since I received them. The colors work great with the Tom Ford lipstick’s mentioned above.

Chanel Lipstick in 327 Camelia Blanc– this has surprised me how much I have worn it and how much I like it because it doesn’t look like it has much color by looking at it in the tube. It looks really pretty on and it keeps my lips hydrated.

Chanel Jersey Blush– this is an older favorite that I pulled out when I was organizing some of my make up drawers this month and I’ve been using it a lot again. It’s just an easy neutral color that really goes with everything.

Tom Ford Inhibition Blush-another old favorite I have been reaching for a lot this month.

Skincare Favorites:

La Mer Replenishing Oil Exfoliator– this has become my favorite Exfoliator. I’ve been using this 2-3 times a week since I got it and love how smooth it makes my skin feel with no irritation at all. It’s super gentle and nourishing while giving me a good exfoliation. My skin has been looking really clear since I have been using this regularly.

La Mer Body Refiner– this is the best body Exfoliator I’ve ever used. It has just enough exfoliating bits in it that are not too harsh but not too soft either. I use it about once a week in the shower to keep my skin glowing.

La Mer Concentrate– I’ve been using this every day as part of my morning skincare routine and have found that with continued use it is really smoothing out some stubborn texture that I’ve had for a long time, and my whole complexion just looks more even and bright. It also makes a great primer under makeup so I don’t need to use an extra primer.

Lancôme Nutrix Royal Body Lotion– This is one of my most re-purchased body lotions ever. I’ve been using it for years and I am almost done with this tube. Anytime I’m having static clinging with my skirts I put this on my legs and it goes away and stays away all day. Tip: I also use what’s left on my hands after applying it to smooth down my flyaways in my hair.

Fragrance Favorites:

Tom Ford Soleil Neige– I sprayed this in the shimmer oil version on my hand when I was in Dillard’s and just really loved how this developed on my skin. I then got a sample of the perfume and have worn it so much since. It’s just a warm and comforting scent that I fell in love with it.

Tom Ford White Suede– on me, this is such a gorgeous white musk with a little floral and a little suede at the beginning. It has been a go- to scent all month. Its so cozy and pretty. It’s unlike anything I have, yet feels very familiar at the same time.

Tom Ford Jasmine Rouge– this is such a romantic Jasmine scent and was love at first sniff. I’ve worn this a bunch this month, too. It just smells so pretty and feminine on me. I also think this is a nice date night fragrance.

Tom Ford Soleil Blanc- I’ve had this little sample for a while and tried it once but then forgot about it. I found it again while going through my sample drawer and tried it again and really love it this time around. Even though this is a scent made for summer I like how it smells right now, in winter, too.

What are some of your favorites this month? I would love to hear what you’ve been enjoying lately, in the comments.
