Tom Ford Soleil Neige Eye Shadow Quads: Apres Ski and Chalet Lust Review and Swatches

Tom Ford Released two new eyeshadow quads in the Wet/dry formula called Apres Ski and Chalet Lust during the Fall/Winter season in the Soleil Neige collection.

Apres Ski Quad

Tom Ford Apres Ski

Apres Ski has metallic shades of gold, warm tan, copper, and bronze.

The quality of these shadows is wonderful. They feel very similar to my favorite Nude Dip palette. They blend well and wear all day on my eyes.

These shades are warmer in tone and I like to wear them with more neutral shades from some of my other palettes.

Chalet Lust Quad

Tom Ford Chalet Lust

Chalet Lust contains three glittery topper shades and one metallic shade in white gold, deeper antique gold, pink, and bronze.

These shades are mostly toppers and impart a sparkle to the eyes so I use them together with some of my other Tom Ford palettes. These are not as highly pigmented on their own, but do look pretty as an ethereal wash of color over the whole lid.

Final Thoughts

Overall I really like the quality of Apres Ski shadows and love the colors of the Chalet Lust palette but wish they were the metallic type of shadow instead of just glittery toppers. The shades are pretty though and versatile to use with other palettes. I recommend waiting for a sale to pick these up if you have your eye on them.

The Tom Ford Soleil Neige Eye Shadow Quads are limited edition, but still available at Sephora and Nordstrom.
