Chanel Le Blanc Reve De Chanel Makeup Collection Review and Swatches

Chanel recently launched their Spring Le Blanc makeup collection called Reve De Chanel. I love the Le Blanc makeup collections because they tend to have lighter, more ethereal shades perfect for spring.

I picked up the highlighter, a lipstick, and all three nail polishes from this collection and I share my thoughts and swatches below.

Reve De Camelia Illuminating Powder in Beige Rose

Chanel Reve De Camelia Highlighter

Reve De Camelia is a gorgeous beige rose highlighter that has a pretty transparent base so once applied to the skin you see a luminous glow, it not much base color. This means this shade should be suitable for every skin tone.

On my skin it leaves a wet like shine with a hint of a beige tint. It is very natural but also not as subtle as many Chanel highlighters in my collection. It looks more noticeably shiny on me than some of the others I have.

The highlighter also comes with a very nice mini kabuki brush, this time, and I love it. The quality of Chanel makeup brushes is top notch, in my opinion.

Rouge Coco Flash in Halo

Chanel Rouge Coco Flash in Halo

Chanel released three Rouge Coco Flash Lipsticks in Halo, Romance and Flanerie. I only picked up Halo for now.

Halo is one of those shades that looks lilac pink in the tube but leaves behind a hint of shimmer and shine on the lips. These are my favorite type of Rouge Coco Flash lipsticks. This one reminds me of Douceur from last year’s collection.

The Rouge Coco Flash lipsticks are one of my favorite lipsticks from Chanel because they are hydrating, make my lips look a little shiny, and have many beautiful colors. They are also easy to just throw on for a casual look or wear with a lip liner for an evening glam look.

Swatches

I had a hard time capturing the true beauty of these shades in the photo. I’m real life they have a brighter, more multi- dimensional effect than can be captured in a photo.

Nail Polishes

Chanel Le Vernis in Utopie, Evanescence, and Onirique

This collection features three pastel nail polish shades in light peach, lilac pink, and neutral nude.

They are semi opaque cream shades that apply without streaks. More opaque coverage can be achieved when you apply three coats.

Other Products in the Collection

The Reve De Chanel Collection also includes and eyeshadow palette, two pen highlighters, and two liquid lipsticks that I chose to skip purchasing this time around. The eyeshadows looked like warm peach tones which are not very flattering on my eyes.

Final Thoughts

I am very happy with all of the pieces I picked up and have already been wearing them frequently. I love the ethereal look of the highlighter and the lipstick and really enjoy the spring colors of the nail polishes. I’m wearing Onirique on my nails right now. I love them all and will get a lot of use and joy out of each of them.

The Le Blanc Reve De Chanel Collection is limited edition, currently available, and is exclusive to Chanel.com and select beauty boutiques.
