The Dior Spring makeup collection for this year is stunning with all the pinks and purples. All the shades are so pretty and wearable.
Sweet Bouquet Eye Palette
The eyeshadow palette in 936 Sweet Bouquet is so pretty. I love the light pink and purple shades. They give an ethereal look to the eyes and go well with my other go to shadows to create new looks. The tones of the colors go well with my complexion and I’ve been wearing the bottom left shade the most so far on my entire lid.
The formula is the smooth and goes on soft and effortlessly. Each of the shimmer shades has smooth with no fall out. The Dior shadows never crease or fade on me and they don’t irritate my sensitive skin either. That’s why they are some of my favorite shadow formulas to date.
I really like that these shades are cooler toned but muted. Perfect for people who look best in a Cool Muted Summer color palette.
Peach Petal Blush and Lilacmania Couture Luminizer
831 Peach Petal Blush is a satin finish that seems to lean on the more matte side. It looks natural and soft on the skin. It’s a perfect peachy blush what will go with many makeup looks.
The 003 Lilacmania highlighter is an interesting shade. It does appear purple in the skin but can be applied in a sheer way. I feel like on me it’s better as a blush topper or as a sheer wash of lilac blush on my extremely fair skin tone, rather than a highlight. If you have a medium or deeper skin tone this will likely make more sense as an actual highlighter.
721 Rose Petal Addict Lipstick
Dior Addict Lipstick in 721 Rose Petal is a stunning peach shade with the prettiest shimmer. This color looks really pretty on the lips. Almost like you tipped a lipstick with a gloss, but it’s all in one.
I love the glossy hydrating formula of these Addict lipsticks and they have quickly become one of my favorite go to lip formulas. They are similar to the Chanel Rouge Coco Flash lipsticks and I love those too. The Dior Addict lipsticks have a larger color range of pretty pinks and nudes, though.
Nail Polishes
The nail colors in 008 Bluemania and 173 Pinkmania and Perfect soft shades for spring. The blue shade is a sheer shimmer, which is my favorite type of nail color to wear. I love the ethereal whisper of pearly nails. I think they look chic and classy.
The pink shade is more like semi opaque so not as sheer. It also has some tiny silver shimmers as well.
Conclusion
I’m really excited about all of the Dior spring makeup items this year. There were more eye palettes with some pastel shades that I am also considering purchasing as well as new Lip Maximizer gloss shades and Lip Glow shades as well. I skipped them initially but might have to take another look as them because I love all of the light and happy spring colors. If I do purchase more from the collection I’ll make a part two post for those items.
Dior is really becoming one of my favorite makeup brands because I love the colors they have been releasing lately.
The Dior spring collection is mostly limited edition and currently available on Dior.com. I’m not sure if these products will be released at retailers.
