The Chanel Holiday makeup collection for 2024 was a nice departure from the typical gold color choices. I really like the pops of pink and purple this year.
I picked up the highlighter, some lipsticks and the nail polishes and will review them below. there were more products in the collection but I chose pieces I knew I would actually use so skipped the rest.
Diamond Dust Highlighter
The Diamond Dust Oversized Highlighter is a beauty this year. It has a gorgeous glittery champagne overspray. When you get through the top layer the highlighter becomes a stunning champagne with a pink shift to it. It is smooth and gives a gorgeous sheen to the skin without any chunky glitters.
The only glitters are in the overspray. The second image shows a portion with the overspray removed and the pink sheen revealed underneath.
The swatch on the left is without the overspray and the one on the right is with overspray.
Lipsticks
The lipsticks I picked up this year are Rouge Allure L’Extrait in Rose Boreal and the Rouge Allure Laque in Crystal Pink.
I love the cooler tones of these pink shades and they both have a beautiful shimmer. Very festive for parties or date nights.
Nail Polishes
The nail colors are also unexpected for holiday and I love these shades for my pedicures. I’ll get a lot of wear out of these shades year round.
Le Vernis Nail Polishes in 191 Charmer, a shimmery cool pink, and 193 Storyteller a deep purple.
Final Thoughts
I have enjoyed wearing these products a lot since I purchased them and feel like these are shades that will be wearable year round.
